What your RidePass estimate means

The number you see before registering interest is an estimate, not your final fare. It helps you decide whether a recurring RidePass route could fit your budget before matching begins.

What shapes the estimate

RidePass starts with the route you entered and converts the repeated trips into a monthly view.

Route distance
The planned driving distance helps set the transport-cost reference for one trip.
Pickup time
Time-of-day conditions are included in the route reference, so an early-morning or peak-time route may price differently.
Recurring days
Your selected weekly schedule is converted into an average month, so more recurring trips increase the monthly estimate.

More than a single metered trip

Your estimate includes a service allowance above the raw route reference. That allowance turns an individual trip into a recurring, scheduled service and leaves room for the real driver bids that arrive during matching.

It supports route matching and recurring-service coordination. It is not a promise that a driver is already available, and it is not a charge placed on your account today.

How an estimate becomes a final price

  1. Preview your estimate

You see an early monthly estimate using the route, pickup time, and recurring days you entered.

  2. Register your interest

Continuing records your route so RidePass can look for suitable drivers. No payment is required today.

  3. Drivers bid for the route

Driver bids reveal the actual supply-side cost of serving your repeated route.

  4. Review the final offer

After a driver accepts your route, RidePass confirms the service details and sends you the final monthly fare.

  5. Choose whether to accept

Payment instructions follow only if you accept the final offer. You can decline if the confirmed price or service is not right for you.

Common questions

Does the price include a return trip?

No. The estimate is for the one-way monthly service described by the pickup, drop-off, time, and days you entered. A return journey is a separate route.

Why can the final fare change?

The estimate is calculated before RidePass has a committed driver. The final fare reflects the selected driver bid and the service details confirmed during matching.

Does registering interest guarantee a match?

No. It gives RidePass permission to look for suitable drivers, but availability is not confirmed until matching is complete.
